The Challenge

Aggregating, curating, and broadcasting user generated content hasn't always been so 'simple'. NIKE wanted to amplify the reach of their new skate shoe launch by incorporatig online marketing, social media platforms, and large digital billboards (in NY Times Square) into their hyperlocal marketing events.

Tech & Tools

Welcome provided a hardware and software solution: a custom content aggregation and management system. We provided a video post-production pipeline that took-in, edited, revised, rendered, and released coverage of the launch’s skateboard events as well as custom digital content to the aggregator, allowing Nike to weave these two streams together during the campaign.

Our Solution

For Go Skate Day, we gave skaters and their friends the ability to create, upload, and broadcast footage of their skate moves in near-real-time to be broadcast across all of NIKE's channels including their giant screen in Times Square.
